Streams and Flow – Introduction
You can perform flood risk screening from rivers, streams and flow paths in SCALGO Live. Screening is available both nationwide and in workspaces. It is currently only available in Denmark where it requires the stream add-on.
National computations
The national computation highlights flooding from streams. The analysis is available under Analysis in the dock, or in the library, if you do not already have it in your dock.
For information about exploring the stream network and the associated computations, please read the network section under understanding.
For the national computation, we have selected a subset of the larger streams from GeoDanmark Vandløbsmidte (those corresponding to type 2 and 3).
Workspaces
You can also work with flood risk from streams in a workspace. Read more about that in workspaces.
