The SCALGO software portfolio consist of four main software packages: SCALGO Model, SCALGO Utility, SCALGO Topology and SCALGO Hydrology. Additionally, the SCALGO software products includes a plugin (S-CAN) for the Navimodel software of EIVA.
The modules in the SCALGO software packages run on Windows platforms and are capable of processing very large datasets on a standard workstation. The packages include support for running the modules from a standalone graphical user interface or from a toolbox within ArcGIS (which also allows for combination of the modules using ArcGIS ModelBuilder). The packages also come with a custom ArcGIS viewer extension that allows for easy display and navigation of the output directly in ArcGIS. The software supports most common raster terrain and polygon data formats through the use of the Geospatial Data Abstraction Library (GDAL), including geotiff-, img-, bil- and asc-files. It supports (LIDAR) point data in the common LAS file format and in simple ASCII file formats, and TIN terrains are supported using a simple binary- or text-based format. Furthermore, large datasets that are broken up into a mosaic of many smaller tiles can also be read and written effortlessly.

SCALGO performs custom computation consulting work such as modeling and hydrological analysis projects on massive terrain data using the SCALGO software packages. We also use more advanced terrain model analysis tools, including novel in-house SCALGO software, for production of realistic contours and advanced hydrological analysis such as Flash Flood Mapping.
