Marketing and Communication - student assistant

SCALGO was founded as a university spin-off to bring cutting-edge massive terrain data-processing technology to the market to change how we plan our cities, design our infrastructure, and protect our natural environments.

Since launching our main product SCALGO Live, in Denmark in 2016, we have added 8 new countries, and we now have more than 20.000 users spanning all the Nordic countries, UK, Germany, Poland, and France. We are continuing our growth journey all over the world.

We are looking for a student assistant in Marketing and Communication.

The job

As a student assistant you will work broadly with varying marketing and communication activities. Much of our marketing activities are still in development, giving you the chance to influence how we expand and streamline our marketing efforts. You will be working closely with our Communication Coordinator and the rest of the sales team.

You will, for example, have the following responsibilities:

  • Help structure and send newsletters (Mailchimp)
  • Help keep our website up-to-date (CRAFT cms)
  • Weekly ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Work with LinkedIn campaigns (Campaign manager)
  • Create marketing material for different markets (InDesign)
  • Edit videos and other content (Photoshop, Premiere Pro)
  • Help make us visible on Instagram and Twitter

You will be working approximately 15 hours a week from our Copenhagen office with a beautiful view over the Copenhagen harbour and Christianshavn.

About you

You want to learn more about B2B marketing. SCALGO is expanding fast, both in existing markets and going into new countries, giving you hands-on experience with using digital marketing to grow an international business.

SCALGO Live is used by planners and engineers working with projects related to blue-green cities, climate adaptation, nature restoration and flood mitigation. We expect you to have an interest in these topics and want to learn more about it.

We imagine that you:

  • Currently are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or similar
  • Want to take what you are studying into practical use
  • Are detail-oriented, systematic, and ready to take up a challenge
  • Are fully fluent in English
  • Have a flair for writing, especially content suitable for SoMe and digital marketing
  • Preferably have some experience in graphical design (Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • A big bonus is, if you know some of the following languages (German, French, Polish, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian)
