Nature restoration use cases
Harriet Housam, a biologist and farm advisor at the Westcountry Rivers Trust (WRT), and Jonas Ribergaard Rasmussen, a project manager at COWI specialising in water and nature, present nature restoration use cases utilising Scalgo Live.
Harriet will share insights from her work with farmers and landowners to improve environmental management practices. She will focus on Upstream Thinking, a 15-year initiative involving partnerships with South West Water, Devon/Cornwall Wildlife Trusts, FWAG South West, and academic institutions.
Jonas will demonstrate the use of terrain edit tools in Scalgo Live in planning a reforestation project near Århus, Denmark. This case study highlights techniques for preserving groundwater through targeted landscape interventions and provides an end-to-end framework for ecological restoration.
