Core+ DynamicFlood – Changelog

This section documents changes we make to the input parameters and settings mainly related to the Core+ module DynamicFlood.

In general, input data to the Core analyses in Scalgo Live, such as elevation models and building footprints, are continuously updated, and these updates are not documented here. To see when the input data to a Scalgo Live analysis, or any other data in Scalgo Live, were updated lastly, click on the "i" next to the layer in the dock.

We have corrected a problem in the default rain events that caused the rain intensities to be too high. The total rain depth across the whole event is unchanged. Both new and existing workspaces now use the corrected rain events.

Denmark, Finland, Norway and Germany
We updated the default Manning numbers. The new numbers will be applied to all new workspaces created after the update.  Read more in the what's new post.

Sweden: 

We have made some updates to the setup in Sweden, read more in the what's new post.

  • We updated the default Manning numbers to align with MSB recommendations. See the country specific section for Sweden for the new values or look them up in the DynamicFlood user interface.  
  • We updated the selection of rain events that can be used in the simulations to align with newest recommendations from SMHI. You can see map of rain regions and the the rain events for each region in the layer Rain in the library and through the DynamicFlood user interface. 
  • We updated the default maximum infiltration rate in sewered areas from 36 mm/hr to 21 mm/hr to align with sewer dimensioning practice in Sweden.
