User Interface – Exporting data

Export Map

If you want to export an image of your map as a PDF or as a JPEG image you can use this tool. It has a simple mode that lets you pick the region you want and gives you an image back and an advanced version that allows you to select  a page size, scale and resolution for your export.

Download Data

Almost every data or analysis can be downloaded from SCALGO Live. To download data, use the following process:

  1. Select the export in the toolbar and then select download data in the dropdown.
  2. Select the area you want to download:
    • you can select a simple rectangle
    • draw an arbitrary polygon
    • or drag a polygon (shape or geojson format) directly into your window.
  3. Single-click to start drawing an arbitrary polygon.
  4. Single-click to add new vertices.
  5. Double-click to stop drawing.
  6. Hit the download icon next to the layer you want to download. If the icon does not appear, the particular layer you have selected is not available for download.
  7. Select options for what data you want, most importantly if you want raster or vector data (if applicable). A choice of projection and file format is also available if needed.
